time is ticking by WAY too fast

It seems like the summer started only a week ago, yet (surprisingly), two months have already passed by. It sort of reminds me of the situation in this one book I read a long time ago, about a time leak. It is called The New Policeman, for anyone interested. Basically, the time from the real world leaked into another dimension, where there is no end to time...it is eternal. So the real world is losing time, and since the time is leaking into the dimension where people(or fairies) are generally immortal, the residents of that parallel dimension are growing older, and dying.

I feel as if the same is happening here, in our real world.

I have an AP English essay due on Monday, and I have to still read the second half of Frankenstein and read all of The Return of the Native. Gah, why am I such a serial procrastinator???

To add on to that, I have lots of music homework to do, and class is on Saturday, and I haven't even touched my book because of all the reading I have to do. I might cancel Saturday's class...hmmm.

Well, anyways, school starts in less than 3 weeks (GASP), and I have yet to go back to school shopping. I haven't gone shopping at all this summer, because of various school projects (it is the summer for goodness sakes!).

I actually cannot wait till school starts...only because I won't be bumming around all day doing nothing. Plus, it will sort of encourage me to wear nice clothes, instead of sweats and t-shirts all day long.

Some things I really want for this fall:

• sequin shorts
• patterned/textured* leggings
  
• patterned minis
• structured minis (like these)
  
• cobwebby tights

*Actually I want the H&M ones (at just $20), but couldn't find the link to them. The topshop ones are exact copies of the H&M ones, just cost more moolah.
