Today, since we had off from school, my mom, my brother and I went to the mall, as little bro was wanting some skinny jeans from PacSun. He's becoming this skater/punk/basketball player wannabe, and it is adorable to watch him go frantic over clothes.
He is so sweet, but we butt heads ALL THE TIME. And then, mid punch, we just burst into hysterics, for no reason, and laugh and laugh and laugh till our stomachs ache, and our eyes tear up, and my mom comes in, just to make sure we are breathing.
Anyways, so we went to the mall, and I really liked the Boy Fit jeans at American Eagle, but I didn't get them. I came home empty handed, but I am not too upset because that means I can save up even more to go shopping with my friend "R" at H&M, as we both have gift cards waiting to be spent. Plus, I want to save up a bit more extra money to buy some jodhpurs/drop crotch pants at Zara, the newest member of my favorite stores list.
While we were at the mall, my brother wanted to go inside Hollister, and so I followed him. I sort of wanted to go too, not to buy clothes (I have WAYYY too many graphic t's from that place, and totally regret it...I don't really like wearing them now...but I try to incorporate them into outfits as stylishly as possible, trying to look as much unlike a mall chick as possible...) but just because the smell and the music is captivating. I could just sit in that store forever and ever and ever, sniffing at all the clothes.
Creep? Maybe...shhh
So while the brother and mother were looking for cali-style stuff, I was sniffing through the fragrances...and found "THE ONE(S)." La Jolla, SoCal, and Malaia were the most amazing fragrances ever! You must go to Hollister just to try them out, and you will understand...
Ok, that being said...
FASHION WEEK...!
Some of the collections were disappointing, as a lot of bloggers have already stated, but others were amazing :)
My sad excuses for collages are coming up at the end of the week!
I am so sorry this post was so boring, but I needed to put something up for the week, or else you would have to keep reading about V-day...
Well, I have a chem test to study for...how I hate the subject :(
toodles darlings
<3 lise
p.s. that outfit challenge hasn't been going too well, I got a lot of Audrey Hepburn challenges, but I haven't really started...so I guess that is going down the drain.
p.p.s I might do something similar to Amelia's challenge (<---click, then scroll to bottom of post) though...if that is ok with her...
Aww, cute post...
ReplyDeleteThat post about your brother is exactly hte way my sister and I are. haha. She wants to be a 'rocker' just like Hannah Montana. Anyway, I have chemistry I should be studying as well.
ReplyDeleteThe whole sensory bombardment at Hollister has always seemed a bit overwhelming to me. That's funny about sniffing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've found a large number of the shows disappointing. I think it's because I know the designers too well now and I want their collections to be exactly like their last collection, only better. Though, that's not to say that I haven't been impressed with some shows.
I think it would be awesome if you did my challenge. Then we could cheer each other on.
lol.
ReplyDeleteskater :)

:D
The darkness and tightness in Hollister always made me feel claustrophobic...haven't been in one in years! I think my age is showing... ;)
ReplyDeletePro-tip: Don't put off starting the challenge until next week. It just gets harder and harder...or maybe that's just me.
ReplyDeleteawwww thankyou hunnie :)
ReplyDeletegood luck with your challenge.. i'm sure you'll do just fine!!

Thank you =)
ReplyDeleteWhoops, Audrey Hepburn overload - if that's possible - sorry! I think the other challenge is an even better one actually.
Seriosly, H&M is much better than Hollister.
ReplyDeleteIs Chemistry really that bad?

ReplyDeleteOh, I think I'm going to mention to my french teacher that we should go see a cirque show. He won't let us though, he's so mean. But that's pretty awesome you got to go.
